Grade, condition, thickness and whether NACE applies are the four lines that matter.
| 1. Grade | Monel 400 or K-500 |
| 2. Condition | Annealed (400), aged (K-500) |
| 3. Thickness | 6 mm, or the finished thickness if machining is involved |
| 4. Size | Sheet dimensions, or the drawing for a cut part |
| 5. NACE | Whether MR0175 / ISO 15156 certification is required |
| 6. Certificate | 3.1 or 3.2 |
What the reply contains
- Price and lead time for the grade, condition and size
- The thickness tolerance the plate will carry
- Whether the part can be cut to the drawing or supplied as a blank
- Whether NACE certification is available on that lot
